With the latest announcement of the Panda update in algorithm by Google on 27th September, totally we have been through 20 times confirmed or unconfirmed refreshness since the first Panda update 1.1 rolled out on Feb 24 2011. It would be interesting to have a reliable statistics report on how many sites have been affected or to what extent they are impacted and is there any therapy to regain the ranking or web owner just have to start all over again? Actually there are so many questions to be raised and discussed. I have checked a slew of websites that fell right into the category of sites in order to monitor whether the Panda update lived up to the expectation of Google to filter out what they called sites with thin content and low quality text and tried to draw a conclusion on how exactly the Panda update works and what kind of new rules we need to abide by to survive the searching game.

As a basic way of creating backlink, web directory submission has been deemed as easy and valid to kick off your SEO link building project. You could find a lot of web directory lists (large part of them are free) on line and keep your nose to grindstone on the job.
